🌋$QUAKE Points

Seismic protocol token reward.

The Seismic protocol-specific rewards are denominated in $QUAKE. These points can be earned through borrow and deposit activity, referrals, and various multipliers on Seismic. These points are an additional bonus on top of the underlying Blast Points, Blast Gold and asset yield that you will receive as a new user.

Earning $QUAKE

Below is a chart that breaks down the distribution of $QUAKE for deposits and borrows, known as Base Actions:

This distribution is multiplied per $100 intervals. The chart below provides an example of expected distribution by deposit volume by Action:

Examples

Base Action Points:

  • Deposit $1000 of assets: 1 Point per $100 of deposits = $1000/$100 = 10 points

  • Borrow $500 of assets: 5 Points per $100 of borrows = $500/$100 = 25 Points

  • With these actions, your Base Action Points for the day = 35 Points

Now, Base Action Points are then multiplied by the current Epoch Multipliers

  • At 00:00 UTC each day, current multipliers are calculated

  • Based on the above example, current Deposit Multiplier = 5, therefore 10 Deposit Points x 5 = 50 Bonus Points

  • Based on the above example, current Borrow Multiplier = 5, therefore 25 Borrow Points x 5 = 125 Bonus Points

  • In this scenario, you’ve received an additional 175 points for the day, bringing your total Points to 210 Points (35 Base Action Points + 175 Bonus Epoch Points)

Taking the example further, imagine that you do nothing and epoch multipliers for Deposits and Borrows are still 5x. You’d receive another 175 bonus points, bringing your rolling total to 385 points. If you choose to withdraw or repay on following epochs, your additional daily bonus points would be reduced as your balances have changed.

Lab Tech 001, Day 1 Log Action: User deposits 1000 USDB and borrows 500 USDB in Epoch 0. He will earn standard points for these actions + epoch points * epoch multiplier.

Outcome: This capital will earn points starting at Epoch 0, with the multiplier Epoch 0, indefinitely OR until the user "forfeits" the Epoch Capital at any time. Lab Tech 001, Day 2 Log Action: User above repays 500 USDB in Epoch 2. This is a FIFO (First In, First Out) system meaning any repay and withdraw that occurs will affect the earliest Epoch Capital first until all capital is exhausted.

Outcome: Due to the FIFO system, repays and withdraws will affect the earliest Epoch Capital until all initial borrow & deposit positions have been exhausted. He will "forfeit" the Epoch Capital from borrowing, that has been earning the points and multiplier from Epoch 0, and no longer earns borrow points. However, his 1000 USDB deposit will continue to earn the multiplier and points from Epoch 0.

Points Dashboard

Additional multipliers will be applied on a per-epoch basis. The amount of points you have accrued will be displayed on the Points dashboard.

Point accumulation is calculated based on supplied capital that is not withdrawn AND borrowed capital that is not repaid, referred to as Withdrawn Capital, in FIFO (First In First Out) order.

That is to say: Higher multipliers on borrows or deposits from earlier epochs will be removed if you withdraw or repay any amount of that capital, relative to the sum total of initial capital.

Once daily (at 00:00 UTC) your total Base Action Points for the day will be tallied and multiplied by the Active Multiplier, and you will be awarded this sum as an additional bonus. The Active Multiplier displayed is set based on the current epoch.

Points History

A more detailed breakdown of your points, by epoch, can be found at the bottom of the Points dashboard in the Points history section.

Users may also use the Points History panel to determine how much capital is remaining in a specific epoch, which may be useful in calculating the impact any repays or withdraws would have on their Active Multiplier.

Referrals

Multipliers for $QUAKE accumulation will be added based on the amount of new users you introduce to Seismic. These users must use the protocol for the referral to count. You can generate your code on our Referrals page.

More information on the $QUAKE token will be made available here shortly.

Leaderboard

The Leaderboard, also found on the Points page, will reflect the total amount of base points + epoch points per user.
