Seismic Finance uses smart contracts to operate.

Most code is forked from Aave v2, which has been thoroughly audited and battle tested. Our code has been public pre-launch with no reported exploits found.

There will always be smart contract risk throughout DeFi despite audits. It is not sound to commit the entirety of your capital to any one protocol, Seismic or otherwise.
